Cookie Policy

The cookies and browser storage the Beecoding client portal uses.

Last updated: September 30, 2026

This policy explains the cookies and browser storage the Beecoding client portal (the "Portal") uses. Beecoding is based in Gamprin, Liechtenstein.

In Short

The Portal uses only what it needs to work: cookies that keep you signed in, and settings saved in your browser so the Portal remembers your choices. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and no other company sets cookies through the Portal. That's why the Portal doesn't show a cookie banner.

What Cookies and Browser Storage Are

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Local storage and session storage work in a similar way: they let a website keep small pieces of information in your browser. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab.

Cookies We Use

  • Sign-in cookies (names starting with sb-): keep you signed in securely. They're removed when you sign out.
  • Support session cookies (bc-impersonation-stash and bc-impersonation-active): set only when a Beecoding admin views the Portal as another person sees it, to help with support. They let the admin return to their own account. They're deleted when the admin does, and expire within 12 hours at the latest.

All of these are strictly necessary for the Portal to work.

Settings Saved in your Browser

The Portal saves some of your choices in local storage on your device, for example:

  • Whether the sidebar is collapsed.
  • How you view, filter and sort lists such as tasks, files and clients.
  • Whether chat sounds are on.
  • Messages and comments you've started but not sent yet.
  • Tips you've already dismissed.

It uses session storage for things that only matter while a tab is open, such as which groups are expanded and your unread counts.

This information stays on your device and isn't used to track you. Some settings are also saved to your account, so they follow you to other devices; our Privacy Policy covers those.

Managing Cookies

You can delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. If you block the sign-in cookies, you can't sign in. If you clear the Portal's site data, it forgets the settings and unsent drafts saved on that device.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever want to use cookies that aren't strictly necessary, we'll ask for your consent first and update this policy.
